About me

Hi! I’m Ji Yang and I’m a UX/UI Designer located in the heart of NYC.

In my recent title as an operation manager, I administered merchant data utilizing the payment platform of Fiserv in the ISO office. On my usual day at the job site, I connected with merchants directly to aid technical troubleshooting and programmed the devices for the payment system. 

Transition to UX Design

My very first job out of college was an after school teacher in the non-profit sector. I have outlined the curriculum to aid students to align their learning materials. My goal was to ensure that students stay fun and express their imaginative ideas while engaging with them for activities and special events. Adopting in such an environment has enabled me to be punctual, progress-driven, optimistic and patient from helping them to develop and achieve their excellence. I believe that combining these qualities can stretch further to empathize with users and incorporate my love of design to deliver a seamless experience with awe. 

When I’m not telling stories with my design, you will see me playing violin in the orchestra/hiking in Catskill/cooking!
